Description

This piece is called 'Riley' from my series called 'Mirroring'. From young girls to womanhood they all are familiar with the phrase "mirror, mirror, on the wall…" from the Disney movie Sleeping Beauty. Many relate to this as they witness themselves being enticed by their own reflection. It it sometimes difficult for women both young and old to truly see themself internally and physically and dismiss the opinion of others that purposely try to dull that beautiful reflection.

To mirror is the eternal beauty reflecting outwards in the form of the perfection that reflects back. Everyone need to acknowledge and appreciate the beauty inside and out, for each of us reflects intelligence, strength, talent, passion, indifference, and will at times expose our weaknesses as if to remind us that we are a unique individuals.

Learn to embrace how perfectly imperfect we all are and that we are more alike then we are different. Together you all mirror each other as one reflection creating this remarkable entity known as women. Recognizing this as a unique individual will spawn that beautiful reflection looking back at you. Learn to love and be loved by that "one of a kind" reflection of ones-self.
